Former Bluff City Resident Dies In Beardstown

William Curless died Thursday afternoon at a private sanitarium in Beardstown where he had been confined for the past twenty months. Death was due to a paralytic stroke. He was aged 71 years, 9 months and 27 days.

He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Jane Dixon of Bluff City; and Mrs. Nellie Mason of Cuba.

Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home of his sister, Mrs. Jane Dixon in Bluff City, conducted by Rev. Fred Thompson. Burial was made in the Bluff City cemetery.
