Mrs. Viola Clarke of Canton, died at the Graham hospital at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon after a several weeks' illness following the birth of a child. She was born April 18, 1908, in Summum, a daughter of William Brown and Isabel Weese Brown. Her husband, George Clarke, and several small children survive. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. The body was taken to Lewistown for burial.
