Bryant Man Killed

Charles Clark, aged about 65 years, an employee of the Illinois Central Electric Company, as day man in charge of the interurban sub-station at Bryant, was electrocuted at about 8:30 o’clock Friday morning.

In making some repairs, Clark took hold of a “live” wire which was charged with many thousand volts. He was not an electrician and had only been employed there about three months.

A pulmotor from Canton was used, but without success. Mr. Clark is survived by his widow and two children.
