George Councilman, aged about 75 years, died Saturday morning about 1:00 o’clock at his home in Ipava, death resulting from paralysis. He was first stricken three years ago. He is survived by the wife and several children. He was numbered among Pleasant township’s most prosperous farmers, having some time ago retired from the farm and moved into Ipava. The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon.
