Young Woman Dies

Hettie Kingery, daughter of Clayton and Ida Kingery was born near Summum, April 1st, 1896.

She was united in marriage to Guy Councilman, Nov. 25th, 1916 at Havana. To them was born a baby girl on Feb. 26, 1920, who preceded her in death and for whom she gave her life on March 3rd, 1920, aged 23 years, 11 months and 2 days.

Hettie was always of a cheerful disposition and had a kind and loving nature. In return she was loved by her many friends and will be greatly missed in the community in which she spent her short life. The many beautiful flowers alone, expressed the high esteem in which she was held by her friends and neighbors.

During her short illness every service was given her that medical aid could render.

Besides a loving husband she leaves to mourn her departure father and mother, one sister and two brothers.

The services were conducted by Rev. Sullivan of Lewistown at the Christian church in Ipava. Interment in the Ipava cemetery.

IPAVA — Mrs. Guy Counselman, who gave birth to a babe last week, passed away at her home southeast of town early Wednesday morning from blood poison. She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clayton Kingery of near Summum and was united in marriage to Guy Counselman some three years ago. The babe, their first child, was buried last Friday in the Ipava cemetery and the mother was laid to rest by its side. Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the Christian church in Ipava, conducted by Rev. Sullivan of Lewistown.
