Friends here will be grieved to learn that Ross L. Carpenter, a former pastor of the Astoria Christian church, died about February first. The family were residents of Jewell City, Kansas, where Mrs. Carpenter and daughter, Faith, continue to reside. No particulars of his death are known here.
