IPAVA — A great sorrow entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. McCune, who recently moved to Rushville from Ipava, when death claimed Mrs. Alice A. Chambers, mother of Mrs. McCune early Monday morning. Mrs. Chambers had not been in good health for several weeks, but on Sunday seemed greatly improved, hence her death early Monday morning was a great shock to the family. She is survived by the daughter in Rushville and two sons in Oregon, John, residing at Dalles and George at Portland. Brief funeral services were held at her late home in Rushville Wednesday forenoon, conducted by Rev. C. E. Fisk, pastor of the Presbyterian church. The body was taken to Jacksonville for interment.
