ASTORIA — C. M. Coombs was last week called to Opdyke, Jefferson county, by the death of his mother, Mrs. Nancy M. Coombs, who with her husband was visiting her son, Boyd Coombs. The cause of death was paralysis. The body was taken to Walnut Grove, Ill., on Sunday for burial. She leaves an aged husband and several children. Mrs. Ellen Soyphers, of Grenola, Kansas, a daughter, and two sons, John and Edward, accompanied the remains.
