LEWISTOWN — Jackson Carter, one of Lewistown’s oldest citizens and a most highly respected old gentleman, died at his home in this city on March 29th. He was over 88 years of age, and had resided in Fulton county for 60 years. He has a sister living in Canton who is 95 years of age. He leaves a wife and six children. The children are Mrs. Sarah Campbell of Deland, Ill.; Mrs. Atha O’Brien, Lewistown; Mrs. Eldora Porter, Deland; Everett Carter, Lewistown; Quincy Carter, Sidell, Vermillion county; Mrs. Jessie Wertmon, Lewistown.
