THOMAS CLARK

A press dispatch from Galesburg, Monday, states that Thos. Clark and Isac Austin, two old settlers of Maquon had been drinking lemon extract for the sake of the alcohol it contained. Friday Clark fell over dead in his cabin and Monday Austin was found dead in bed. Wednesday Martin Daily died from the effects of drinking extract. Two merchants who sold the extract were arrested by a United States Marshal.
