Randy R. Bird, 51, of Rushville died at 7:50 p.m. Oct. 31, 2023, at Rushville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
He was born July 13, 1972, in Springfield, a son of Lester and Mary Lou Bollinger Bird. His parents preceded him in death.
Surviving are his girlfriend, Gina Tuckey; one ‘adopted’ brother, Reggie Stambaugh; one sister, Patty Prather; and numerous cousins.
He enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved to play basketball and played for the Canton Special Olympics basketball team for several years.
A graveside service was held Nov. 4 in the Browning Cemetery with Pastor Reggie Stambaugh officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
