Etsu Jean (Yonaiyama) Baldwin, affectionately known as “Nana”, 85, of Canton died Sept. 8, 2023.Etsu Jean (Yonaiyama) Baldwin, affectionately known as “Nana”, 85, of Canton died Sept. 8, 2023.
She was born June 28, 1938, in Aomori-ken, Kamikita-gun, Japan, the daughter of Miyajiro and Min Nagakubo Yonaiyama. They preceded her in death. She married Phillip Baldwin in 1968 in Las Vegas, Nev.
Surviving are three children, John (and Sonya) Baldwin and Kathy (and Marc) Churchill, both of Lewistown, and Susan Baldwin of Canton; one brother, Tatsuya Yoniayama of Japan; and seven grandchildren.
She worked as a hairstylist and business owner in Lewistown for many years.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made in honor of Jean Baldwin to Lewistown Volleyball.
