He was born Dec. 10, 1966, in Springfield, a son of Gerald and Paulette Bell. He married Valerie Miller on June 16, 1990, in Kilbourne. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Brittanie (and Trey) Reneau of Ipava, Tiffanie (and Adam Oatman) Bell of Kilbourne and Whittanie (and Chandler) Daughtry of Clayton, N.C.; one brother, Bill Bell of Saint Louis; one sister, Becky (and Craig Williams) Bell of St. Louis; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents; and one sister, Melissa Hulett.
He was a trucker for over 20 years, starting for Bill Severns and RCM Co-op afterwards, until his death.
Services were held Monday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Abe Mogerman officiating.
