Brenda Kay Bottorff, 63, of Rushville died at 9:50 a.m. Jan. 22, 2022, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 12, 1958, in Jacksonville, a daughter of Donald and Grace Smith Worrall. She married Steven Bottorff on July 23, 1988, in Rushville. He survives.
Also surviving are her mother, Grace Worrall of Winchester; one daughter, Bobbie Jo Hicks of Havana; two sons, Jeremy (and Beth) Barrow of Dawson and Christopher Bottorff of Rushville; six sisters, Sharon (and Roger) Mills, Marilyn (and Thor) Thorsen, Donita (and Rick) Luber, Rita Worrall, Janet (and Mike) Zachery and Becky (and Brian) Schafer; one brother, Rodger Worrall; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Donald Worrall; and one grandson, Noah Hicks.
She was a member of Rushville First United Methodist Church and the Esther Day Star Circle. She was active in the Rushville Tiny Homes.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at her church with Rev. Stacy Tomich officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
