She was born Dec. 15, 1933, in Cuba, a daughter of Everette and Dessie Martin Davidson. She married Kenneth Bixby on Nov. 23, 1957, in Lewistown. He preceded her in death on Feb. 18, 1993.
Also preceding her in death are three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are four children, Carol S. (and Thomas) Selph of Saint David, Connie J. Bixby of Canton and Ronald L. (and Lorna) Bixby and Vickie L. (and Mike) DeLong, both of Cuba; one brother, Donnie Davidson of Cuba; three sisters, Audrey Day of Ipava, Marie Harrison of South Port, N.C., and Barbara Nelson of Sun City, Ariz.; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She worked in a lot of restaurants in Fulton County, Atwood and Victor and Dana in Havana and also sorted seed corn. She also was a CBer for a while, belonging to the Civil Defense.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday at the Oaks-Hines Funeral Home and Crematory in Canton. Cremation rites will be accorded after visitation. Inurnment will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Wiley Cemetery in rural Ellisville.
