Bobby BohananBobby L. “Pappy” Bohanan, 83, of Macomb died at 4:10 p.m. June 9, 2021, at Prairie City Rehab and Health Care in Prairie City.

He was born June 4, 1938, in Glasford, a son of Marion and Lucille Sweet Bohanan. He married Mary Ellen Gorsage in 1968. She preceded him in death on July 26, 2012.

He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Lori Robinson; and one sister, Beverly Schrodt.

Surviving are one son, John (and Tammy) McCamant of Bushnell; one daughter, Dorothea Bohanan of Macomb; adopted son, Red (and Mary) Rickard of Jewett, Texas; one brother, Cary Bohanan of Banner; seven grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

He was a carpenter. He worked on the Texas Pipeline and several construction jobs in the state of Texas. He also worked on crane computers and got them ready for a job.

He served in the U.S. Navy.

Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Bob Spencer officiating. Military rites were provided by the Astoria American Legion Post #25.

Cremation rites have been accorded.
