She was born Dec. 15, 1952, in Rushville, a daughter of Russel Baughman and Lena Elizabeth Moore.
Surviving are her mother, Lena Lambert of Beardstown; one son, Russell “Mikel” (significant other Hannah Price) Baughman of Beardstown; two brothers, William “Bill” (and Deanna) Baughman of Beardstown and Wayne Baughman of Browning; one sister, Susan (and Michael) Wright of Ipava; and four grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She attended Rushville Schools and later obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant degree. She worked for Heritage Health in Beardstown, and later was an in home care provider. She had a strong Christian faith.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Colwell Memorial Home in Beardstown. Burial will be in Ripley Cemetery. The family will meet with friends from 1 p.m. until the time of services at the memorial home. Due to the current health situation, face masks will be required and to comply with social distancing guidelines, a limited number of people will be allowed in the memorial home at one time.
