She was born Oct. 4, 1925, in St. Louis, Mo., the daughter of Hammond and Frances Orchard Baily. She married Second Lieutenant Robert C. Schindling in November, 1948, in Leavenworth, Kan.
Surviving is one son, Eric M. Schindling.
She was preceded in death by one son, Rob R. Schindling.
She attended both private and public schools graduating from Soldan High School. She attended college at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Mo.
The couple traveled with the military to Panama, Japan and Alaska, as well as other parts of the United States.
She was active in Little Theater and served as Cub Scout Den Mother. She was a judge in the Miss Alaska contest 1961. She was a member of Presbyterian Church USA.
A graveside service will be held at noon Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
