Vada Lou Beans, 82, of Valparaiso, Ind., died Oct. 4, 2016.
She was born April 3, 1934, in Ray, the daughter of Gilbert and Mary Jones Kost. She married Roger Beans. He survives.
Also surviving are her children: Ross (and Carol) Beans, Sue (and Lester) Blythe and Bruce (and Dawn) Beans; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She graduated from Vermont High School and Gem City Business College.
Services were held Oct. 8 at Calvary Church in Valparaiso. Burial was in Angelcrest Cemetery. Moeller Funeral Home in Valparaiso was in charge of arrangements.
