She was born June 12, 1941, in Canton, a daughter of Thomas R. and Wilma Irwin Ault. She married Donald Burton. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one brother.
She lived many years with her special companion Charles Barnes. He survives. Also surviving are four sons, Rick (and Teresa) Burton of Meredosia, Terry Burton of Pennsylvania, Mike (and Lori) Burton of Union, Mo., and Robert Burton of South Carolina; one sister, Martha Davidson of Canton; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was a certified Bob Ross art instructor and taught many people over the years. She also had worked at Wal-Mart as an assistant manager in Canton and Macomb.
She was a member of Astoria Quilt Society. She established and was a former empress of the Red Hat Society Lewistown Chapter.
Services were held Thursday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Reverend Kevin Vantine officiating. Burial was in Cuba Cemetery.
