Ruth L. Bordwine, 88, of Bryant died at 11:20 a.m. Oct. 17, 2012, at Palm Terrace in Mattoon.
She was born March 15, 1924, in Lewistown, a daughter of Harry and Emma J. Dunn Loveland. She married Carl Bordwine on May 7, 1944. He preceded her in death on Sept. 7, 1985.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Shirley (Bordwine) Voyles; three brothers; and one sister.
Surviving are three sisters, Elouise Harper and Frances Sipe, both of Canton and Bernice Hedden of Smithfield; one brother, John Loveland of Gladwin, Mich.; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Amalgamated Clothing and Textile Workers Union.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Oct. 27, 2012, in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Reverend Larry Wright officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
