She was born Dec. 26, 1918, in Bainbridge Township, Schuyler County, Illinois, a daughter of Willard and Lucy Lawler Leezer. She married Harold V. Bonser on May 3, 1948, in Taylorville. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1988.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Roderick Leezer; and two sisters, Mary Leezer and Rosalee McCoy.
Surviving are one daughter, Norma (and David) Hadley of Broadview Heights, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She attended Center School and went to work at Mickleberry Processing Plant during the 1940s. She later worked at Schuyler Counseling Health Services as a homemaker services assistant. She was a lifelong farmer.
Services were held Monday at Wood Funeral Home in Rushville with Reverend Rosalee Ross officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
