Glenn BlakleyGlenn A. Blakley, 66, of Smithfield died at 9:34 a.m. June 13, 2009, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

He was born Aug. 22, 1942, in Tonasket, Wash., a son of Harry and Margaret Deakin Blakley. He married Judi Martin on Dec. 5, 1981, in Smithfield. She survives.

Also surviving are four daughters, Jean (and Mike) Farrell of Tyler, Texas, Jennifer (and Dante) Mably of Burbank, Calif., Janet (and Dan) Martindale of Pekin and Julie Messimer of Mount Vernon, Texas; two sons, Bill Hosbrough of Peoria and Jim McCartney of Cornell; two brothers, Bill (and Andrea) Blakley of Smithfield and Larry Scott (and Lori) Blakley of Ipava; one sister, Nancy Blakley of Cuba; three stepbrothers, Ronald Henderson of East Peoria, Donald Henderson of Moline and Richard Henderson of East Peoria; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was a union millwright working out of Local 1051 for over 35 years.

He was of Christian faith.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Rev. Ardith Corsaw officiating. Burial will be in Baughman Cemetery at rural Smithfield. There will be no visitation.
