She was born Feb. 14, 1925, in Astoria, a daughter of Joseph and Bertha Wardell Davis. She married Otis Ray Lind in October 1947, in Astoria. He died Feb. 25, 2005.
She also was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Jeff Lind of Kansas and Ed (and Diane) Lind of Clarksville, Ark.; two daughters, Peg Lawson of Macomb and Mary (and Rev. Mark) Westman of Washington; one sister, Margie Danner of Astoria; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She worked as a CNA for 10 years and had previously worked as a supervisor for Servicemaster and the Crescent and Forge factory.
She was a Rosie the Riveter during World War II.
She was a member of Highview Christian Church in Washington.
Services were held April 1 at Deiters Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. Mark Westman officiating. Cremation rites were accorded. Inurnment will be held at a later date.
