William L. Brooks, 58, of Peoria died at 3:15 p.m. Dec. 6, 2006, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center.
He was born Aug. 11, 1948, in Peoria, a son of Russell and Myrtle Strode Brooks. He married Janice Forshee. He later married Jill Morgan.
Surviving are two sons, Raymond of Hanna City and Brian of Salem, Ind.; one daughter, Billie Jo Brooks of Peoria; one brother, Jim (and Darlene) of East Peoria; and one sister, Pat Smithee of Peoria.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He owned and operated a tire store in Abingdon, and later worked at Brad Ragen Tire in East Peoria.
Services were held Saturday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Cuba with Rev. Andy Fyffe officiating. Burial was in Cuba Cemetery.
