She was born March 31, 1930, in La Crosse, Wis., a daughter of Laurence "Willy" and Ada Kimberlin Clark. She married Maurice H. Bernard on May 12, 1953, in La Crosse, Wis. He died June 2, 1983.
Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Junior and Melvin Clark; and one sister, Ruth Clark.
Surviving are three daughters, Roberta Clark of Wisconsin, Maria (and Tony) Howard of Galesburg and Georgianna (and Raymond) Crenshaw of Browning; one son, Charles of Galesburg; one sister, Beatrice Campbell of Sioux City, Iowa; eight grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and 42 great-grandchildren.
She attended United Federated Church in Avon.
She worked for Ralston-Purina in Davenport, Iowa, and also worked as a waitress at several restaurants.
Services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Bader Cemetery in Browning.
