Frances Elizabeth Brinton, 89, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Vermont, died Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Baywood Medical Center in Mesa.
She was born Sept. 14, 1916, in Vermont, a daughter of William Monroe and Jessie Viola Bailey Parish. She married Roy Berlin Brinton on Jan. 23, 1932, in Rushville. He died June 26, 1994.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Vlondina Ruth Bradley.
Surviving are one son, Harvey (and Janet) of Mesa; one sister, Berta Lee Marshall of South Bend, Ind.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Vermont United Methodist Church.
Graveside services were held Friday at Vermont Cemetery with Rev. Tim Gilliland officiating. Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
