David George Bottorff, 42, of Mendon died at 4:40 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, 2005, in his home after battling a lifelong lung disease.
He was born Oct. 25, 1962, in Quincy, a son of Harry "Junior" and Shirley Wilson Bottorff.
He is survived by his father of Loraine; one brother, Tom of Loraine; and one sister, Mary Ann (and Lyle) Bentzinger of Mendon.
He was preceded in death by his mother; his grandparents, Harry and Mary Reece Bottorff, and Amos and Hazel Wilson.
He worked several years at the North Adams Nursing Home in the maintenance department and owned his own lawn care business.
He was a member of the Loraine Christian Church.
Services were held at Hunter Funeral Home in Mendon with Rev. Russell Corrigan and Rev. Oliver Taube officiating. Burial was in Curless Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Loraine Christian Church or the college fund for David's nieces and nephew.
