Dora J. "Dee" Bollinger, 77, of Browning died Friday, July 29, 2005, at Culbertson Long Term Care in Rushville.

She was born Feb. 28, 1928, in Otoe Reservation, Okla., the daughter of Joseph Sr. and Maime Jones Young. She married Richard Wayne Bollinger on May 22, 1951, in Beardstown. He survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Wendell of Spencer, Okla., and Rick of Browning; two daughters, Anita (and Bruce) Mercer of Vermont, and Melanie Waller of Rushville; one brother, Llewellyn Young of Red Rock, Okla.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Michael; and four brothers.

She worked at Wells Lamont Glove Factory, retiring in 1984.

She was a member of Otoe-Missouria War Mothers.

She also was a member of Church of Christ Christian of Rushville.

Services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Jim Cook officiating. Burial was in Browning Cemetery.
