WILMA P. (ELLIS) BATH

Wilma Bath

Wilma P. Bath, 90, of Virginia, formerly of Astoria died at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, March 18, 2003, at Walker Nursing Home in Virginia.

She was born Jan. 3, 1913, in Canton, a daughter of William O. and Caroline Miller Ellis. She married Lyle Henry Bath on May 1, 1937, in Peoria. He died March 29, 1987.

She also was preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Laysalle and Bernice Hornbuckle.

Surviving are one daughter, Lynne (and Frank) Tiley of Springfield; one son, William (and Agnes) of Lewistown; one sister, Leta Welch of Canton; seven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was a homemaker.

She was a 50-year member of Rebekah Lodge #53 in Vermont, and a member of South Fulton Senior Citizens and Woodland Church of the Brethren in Astoria.

Graveside services will be held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Canton with Pastor Kevin Kessler officiating. There will be no visitation. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to Walker Nursing Home in Virginia or to the South Fulton Senior Citizens Center in Astoria.
