Raymond L. Bubb, 89, of Ipava died at 10:54 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2002, at Heartland Health Care Center in Macomb.
He was born Aug. 14, 1912, in Ipava, a son of Franklin and Ruth Robertson Bubb. He married Betty E. Sears on July 7, 1940, in Carthage. She died June 13, 1988.
Three brothers and one sister also preceded him in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Nancy (and Ted) Hodgson of Williamsville; two sons, David (and Cathy) of Havre de Grace, Md., and Paul Allan (and Susan) of Orono, Maine; and seven grandchildren.
He worked at Bubb Brothers Builders for more than 40 years.
He was a member of Ipava Christian Church, where services were held today with Rev. Tracy Armstrong officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
