Anna Burget, 89, of Vermont died at 6:50 p.m. Saturday, March 31, 2001, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Jan. 25, 1912, in Edwards, a daughter of Joseph and Nellie Perry Bonnetto. She married Edward Bontjes. He preceded her in death. She later married Robert Earl Burget on April 22, 1948. He died Aug. 27, 1968.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Harold Bontjes of Springfield and Herman Bontjes of Havana; one daughter, Mabel Fawcett of Havana; six grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; one brother, Fred Bonnetto of Pelion, S.C.; and four sisters, Pearl Hudson of Clinton, Betty Worthington of Marietta, Bernice Magee of Green Forest, Ark., and Norma Leonard of Fayetteville, Ark.
She worked at Vermont Foundry for more than 20 years.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church, where services were held at 11 a.m. today with Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana. Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
