Jerry Belville

Jerry E. "Banjo" Belville, 44, of Astoria died Thursday, Jan. 25, 2001, at 4:28 p.m. at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Feb. 13, 1956, in Beardstown, the son of Robert and Mary Lou Parsano Belville.

Surviving are his parents of Astoria; one son, Jim R. Belville of Astoria; one sister, Becky (and Daniel) Hamm of Astoria; and one nephew.

He worked for the River City Construction Company in Peoria.

He was a member of International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental and Re-inforcing Iron Workers Local #112 of Peoria, Astoria Fire Dept., Ipava Sportsman Club and the American Bowling Congress.

Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the Astoria Rescue Squad.
