Judith Susan Barnes, 51, of East Peoria died at 6:45 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 5, 2000, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 16, 1948, in Peoria, a daughter of Thurman Jr. and Jean West Bernius.
Surviving are her father of Metamora; one daughter, Jacqueline Barnes of East Peoria; one son, Robert of East Peoria; two sisters, Janice (and Steve) Vicary of East Peoria and Kathy (and Don) Cook of Bartonville; and one brother, Michael (and Phyllis) Bernius of Vermont.
Her mother preceded her in death.
She was a certified nurse's aid at Washington Christian Village for 13 years, last working in 1992.
Services were held Saturday at Mason-White Funeral Home in Washington with Rev. James Gorby officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Metamora.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association.
