DELBERT L. BONNETT

Delbert Bonnett

Delbert L. Bonnett, 65, of Havana died at 2 a.m. Friday, April 25, 1997, at Mason District Hospital.

He was born Sept. 3, 1931, in Marietta, a son of Henry C. and Marjorie Lutz Bonnett.

Surviving are two sons, Steve Bonnett of Canton and Rick Bonnett of Havana; one daughter, Melody Lynn of Easton; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Dale Bonnett of Havana.

He was preceded in death by one son, David Bonnett.

He farmed and later was a salesman for Weakly & Sloan John Deere. He was the owner and operator of Del’s Menswear from 1984 until the time of his death.

He was a member of First United Methodist Church, where memorial services were held Monday with Rev. Larry Maffett officiating. Cremation has been accorded and burial of ashes was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Mason District Hospital or his church.
