Raymond Baldwin

Raymond L. Baldwin, 40, of Long Beach, Calif., and formerly of Smithfield, died at 8:24 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 3, 1995, at Doctor’s Hospital at Santa Anna, Calif., after a long illness.

He was born March 4, 1955 at Tuscola, a son of Richard and Harriet Meyer Baldwin.

Surviving are his parents of Smithfield; one brother, Kevin Baldwin of Canton; two sisters, Geneda Wallick of Canton, and Carol Kurtonbach of Roberts; and three nieces and three nephews.

He was the Director of Materials Management for Doctor’s Hospital and Medical Centers of Santa Anna, Calif. He held degrees in trauma and pharmaceutical management, surgical technician, and a bachelor’s degree in Science and Business Management.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Interment of the cremains will take place at 11 a.m. Friday at Baughman Cemetery at rural Smithfield with Rev. Layton Malone officiating.

Henry Memorial Home in Cuba is in charge of arrangements.
