Willard F. Beever, 75, of Vermont, died Monday, March 20, 1995, in Leesburg, Fla.

He was born May 6, 1919, in Meyer, a son of Wallace and Mary Douglas Beever. He married Melba J. Miller. She died Feb. 1, 1957. He later married Mary Catherine Curran on July 5, 1959. She survives in Vermont.

Also surviving are three daughters, Jo Ann Young of Smithville, Mo., and Sandra J. Crowell and Faye M. Drinkwater, both of Fairfield, Mo.; two sisters, Agnes Gohde of Kingston Mines and Barbara Kester of Pekin; two brothers, Ted of Tremont and Don of Pekin; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. One son, Sherman, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

He was a World War II Navy veteran. He was an ironworker and was the superintendent of the Chicago Base Contractors.

He was a member of Vermont Christian Church, where services were held Saturday, with Rev. Clint Palmer officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery. Kost Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
