Dorothy R. Barker, 72, of rural Table Grove, died at 10:28 a.m. Friday, Sept. 28, 1990, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Oct. 11, 1917, in Beardstown, the daughter of Henry Lysle and Martha Matilda Emily (Bruss) Moore. She married Eugene S. Barker on April 11, 1936, in Palmyra, Mo. He survives.
Other survivors include one son, John L. of Table Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Don (Martha) Harper of Oblong and Mrs. Stan (Elaine) Danner of Table Grove; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Lysle Moore of Peoria.
She worked at the Blue Bell Factory of Bushnell for seven years and for the Farm Program for three years. She was a member of Summum Christian Church.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Monday at Kost Memorial Home of Vermont, with Rev. Steve Castaneda and Rev. Bruce Peterson officiating. Burial was at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens of Macomb.
