Randy L. Burgett Drowning Victim

Randy Lee Burgett, 30, of Bath, drowned Sunday, Sept. 2, 1990, near Red Wing, Minn.

He was born July 24, 1960, at Havana, a son of Robert and Donna Herring Burgett.

Surviving are two daughters, La Donna and Tonya Burgett, both of Havana; his father of Liverpool; his mother of Bath; and seven sisters, Cathy Sinclair of Springfield, Melissa Neteler of Havana, June Cohee, Paula Rich, Robin Burgett and Amy Dobson, all of Bath, and Helen Sayers of Astoria.

Also surviving are two brothers, Robert of Jonesboro, Ark., and James of Bath; a half-brother, Robert Burgett of Havana; and a half-sister, Becky Black of Lewistown.

He was preceded in death by a half-sister.

He was employed as a deck hand for a barge company.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Lester Burgard officiating. Burial was in Snicarte Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the LaDonna Burgett Trust Fund, in care of Havana National Bank.
