Helen M. Byers, 84, of rural Cuba, died at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, July 15, 1990, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Feb. 18, 1906, in Ipava, the daughter of Roy B. and Nellie M. (Johnson) Parkinson. She married L. Dwayne Byers on Nov. 9, 1926, in Peoria. He survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Barbara J. Polcyn of Evergreen Park; one brother James B. Parkinson of Lewistown; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, William B.
She was a member of the Lewistown United Presbyterian Church and the Lambda Chi Omega Sorority.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at the United Presbyterian Church in Lewistown with Rev. Robert McCleery officiating. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery of Lewistown. Henry Memorial Home of Lewistown was in charge.
