Mary E. Brooks, 80, of 1026 S. Main, Lewistown, died at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, Mar. 30, 1985, in her home.
She was born Sept. 14, 1904, in Pike County, the daughter of Arthur and Edith Myrtle (Hoover) Billings. She married Myles Brooks Sept. 3, 1927, in Lewistown. He survives.
Other survivors include one daughter, Mrs. John (Lorraine) Hinds of Lewistown; three grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and one brother, Granvill Billings of Lade Havasu City, Ariz.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Forrest Billings, who died 24 hours earlier.
She was a member of the Illinois Street Christian Church and the Lewistown Order of Eastern Star.
Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Henry Memorial Home with Rev. Clyde Mosher officiating. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery.
