Mrs. Ferris A. Berry, 27, of Astoria, died at 5:57 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, 1985, in St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
Mrs. Berry, a leukemia victim, had undergone a bone marrow transplant several months ago at Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
She was born April 8, 1957, in Canton, the daughter of L. B. “Pete” and Shelby Miller Windsor, now of Havana.
She married David E. Berry Oct. 28, 1978, at Havana. He survives, along with two sons, John H. “Chip” Benko Berry IV and Casey David Berry, both at home; her parents; her paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nina Windsor of Havana; and two brothers, Bradley P. of Dunlap and Jeffrey B. of Peoria.
Her paternal grandfather and maternal grandparents preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Astoria Christian Church, of which she was a member. Darren McCormick and Jim Comstock officiated. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
