Galen G. Burgard, 78, a native of Illinois, was entered into rest at Saratoga, Calif., on April 3, 1981.
He was the devoted husband of the late Nell Burgard, dear father of J. Keith Burgard, and loving brother of Mildred Hults and Lula Baker. He was also the grandfather of Debora Lynn, Beth Ann, Brian, David and Kristy and father-in-law of Judith Burgard.
Private services were held under the direction of the Lima Family Erickson Cathedral Chapel, 710 Willow St. at Delmas Ave., with cremation at Cedar Lawn Memorial Park.
Donations to the Crippled Children’s Society of Santa Clara Valley Inc., 2851 Park Ave., Santa Clara, 95050, was preferred by the family.
He had several relatives in this area.
