Dallas L. Burton, 71, of Vermont died at 6:55 p.m. Monday, Sept. 1, 1975, in Americana Nursing Center, Macomb.
He was born in Brooklyn on June 16, 1904, a son of George and Mary Raper Burton. He married Ruth Halcomb Sept. 22, 1927, in Chicago. She died Jan. 17, 1963. He later married Mabel Holloway Feb. 20, 1964, at Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Beverly Wagner of Peoria; one stepson, Robert Holloway of Medina, Ohio; one grandson; four stepgrandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Goldie Pierce of Liberty and Mrs. Garnie Stough of Cedarberg, Wis.
One infant son preceded him in death.
Mr. Burton was a grinder at Ken-Ray Foundry.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Wilbur Payne officiating. Burial will be in Brooklyn Cemetery.
