Robert M. Brinton Of Macomb Dies

Robert Merrill Brinton, 63, of Route 4, Macomb, formerly of Table Grove, died at 1:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 25, 1975, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Mr. Brinton was born April 14, 1912, in Worthington, Minn., the son of George Edward and Grace Margaret Merrill Brinton. He married Mary G. Sanders on Dec. 21, 1935, in Carthage. She survives.

He was a farmer and was employed by Builder’s Supply Company in Macomb for 18 years. He was a member of the Table Grove Community Church. Mr. Brinton was a member of A.F. and A.M. Masonic Lodge 939 of Table Grove, and was a 25-year member of the Macomb Elks Lodge.

Besides his widow, Mr. Brinton is survived by his mother; one son, John of Table Grove; two daughters, Mrs. Judy John of Macomb and Mrs. Cassy Bruketta of Peoria; one sister, Mrs. Vadalou Maxwell of Buffalo Grove; and five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother.

Funeral services to be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Carl H. Anderson officiating. Burial was to be in the Vermont Cemetery.
