Sammy Berry, Jr., four day old son of Sammy J. and Donna Maxsfield Berry, Sr. of Astoria died Friday in St. John’s Premature Baby Hospital in Springfield.
He was born Nov. 2 in Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
Survivors include the parents of Astoria; maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Don Maxsfield of Beecher City; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Alden Berry of Neponset; maternal great-grandmother, Mrs. Florence Maxsfield of Beecher City; paternal great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Pardue and Mrs. Mattie Berry of Neponset.
Graveside services were conducted Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. at the Astoria Cemetery by Rev. James Elder.
