Pauline Brock, 72, Of Vermont Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Pauline M. Brock, 72, of Vermont were held Monday at 2 p.m. in the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. Carl H. Anderson officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.

Mrs. Brock died Friday morning in McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

She was born Aug. 29, 1897, in Vermont, the daughter of Lewis W. and Mary Beeler Kirkbride. She was married to Glenn Brock who is deceased.

Mrs. Brock had been employed as a linotype operator in Vermont and had also taught in a country school. She was a member of the Vermont Christian Church, the American Legion Auxiliary, Order of Eastern Star, Vermont Women’s Club and the National Federation of Republican Women.

Surviving are two sons, Norman G. Brock of Austin, Tex. and Edwin Brock of Meadowbrook, Pa.; six grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Two brothers died previously.
