Mrs. Wanda Burnett, age 56, of rural Gardener, died at St. Joseph Hospital in Joliet Saturday following a brief illness.
She was born to the late Mary and Andrew McCluskie at Marion on Sept. 29, 1913.
Mrs. Burnett is survived by her husband, Harrell; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Williams of Quincy and Mrs. Darlene Schideman of Rolling Meadows; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Barth of Marion and Mrs. Ed Crain of Monrovia, Calif.; and four grandchildren.
Funeral services are to be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon at Wilson-Frick Funeral Chapel in Marion. Burial will be in the New Rose Hill Cemetery in Marion.
Mrs. Burnett was a member of the Christian Church of Wilmington.
Mr. and Mrs. Burnett were former Astoria residents for several years when Mr. Burnett was associated with Key Coal Co.
