Jesse Blimling, 57, of Ray, died Wednesday night at the Peoria State hospital, where he had been a patient only a week.
Born April 27, 1883 in Cass county, Ill., he was a son of Jacob and Sarah (Wight) Blimling. He had never married.
Brothers and sisters surviving are Mrs. Mae Birks, Springfield; John Blimling, Rushville; Mrs. Abby Dorsett, Highland, Ind.; and Mrs. Garnet James of Ray. There are several nieces and nephews. Before becoming ill, Mr. Blimling lived with his sister, Mrs. James.
Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Shawgo Memorial Home, by Rev. E. Y. Hunker. Burial in Astoria cemetery.
