Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday for Mrs. Sarah Julianne Belless, 73, widow of Marshall Belless, who died at 1 a.m. Friday at her home in Havana. Services were conducted by the Rev. Wm. S. Schuermann, pastor of the Central Christian church. Burial in Laurel Hill cemetery.
Mrs. Belless was born near Summum in Fulton county, a daughter of John Howard and Julianne Smith. She lived in that community until 1915 when the family moved to Havana.
Surviving are six children: Mrs. Harry Foutch, Mrs. Cora Flowers, Mrs. Paul O. Bush and Fred Belless, all of Havana; Ross H. Belless and Albert M. Belless of Davenport, Iowa. There are five grandchildren.
